Background
I found my car in a local autotrader with an ad that says-needs engine work. I went to see it, and it was clean, only thing was that I had to tow it home, as it had a rod through the block. I took it home, dropped a jdm motor in it, and started work on it to what it is today.
Turbo
Turbo is a 57 trim upgraded ct 26 with a 10 degree clip on the exhaust side. The only other thing is that the housing is polished.
Bottom
End
Stock pistons that are coated and cryoed, shot peened rods, titan motorsports 1.4 mhg with arp head studs to 85 ft lbs.
Head
3 angle valve job, reground cams to 264 duration specs, other than that, stock head
Intake
Stock intake manifold, polished and ported upper and lower runners. Running dual HKS super seqential blow off valves, Greddy 3 row intercooler for 95-99 eclipse with custom 3 inch upper piping, and 2.5 inch lower piping.
Exhaust
Custom 3.5 inch divorced downpipe heat wrapped, mated to a custom 3.5 inch exhaust with a hks carbon ti muffler.
Fuel
550cc RC engineering injectors, Lexus AFM, walbro 255 pump, aeromotive afpr, with j tube bypassed and fuel dampener removed.
Drivetrain
Swapped auto to r154 tranny with rps billet flywheel, and rps 6 puck clutch.
Suspension
Tockico Illumnia IIs, with H@R springs, greddy strut tower bar in front.
Brakes
Brembo blanks, wagner pads, and goodridge stainless steel lines.
Electronics
Greddy Profec B spec 1, using a safcII black edition to tune as well as a zeitronix wideband.
Interior
Sparco Torino 2s in grey and black with 4 point black clubman harnesses, sparco race steering wheel, and sparco pedals. Levoc shifter and matching ebrake handle, custom door panels in black and orange, dyed interior from maroon to black, removed back seat and replaced with custom enclosure to house batteries and n2o bottle, fiberglass system in the back.
Exterior
COMPLETE color change to Lamborghini Marcealgo orange (Sherwin Williams Orange Metallic aka Orange with a silver pearl), Full bomex kit with whaletail wing and type 1 mirrors, shaved door handles, front emblem, headlight washers, rear wiper and antenna, molded rear bomex kit, Volk Racing GT-7 wheels in 18X10 and 18X9 in front. Carbonfibre fx carbon hood, and both headlight covers. Custom carbon gas cap, custom led 91 taillights, 91 euro half clear and half amber turn signals hella 6500k hid headlights and housings, jdm honda of japan eg6 sidemarkers.
Writeup
All I can say is that building this car has been a great experience over the past 5 years. Now that its finally coming together, it feels so good, to see others admire your work and what you put into it makes it all worth it in the end. When I drive my car, it feels like im on a whole different level and it sure gives you a big boost in confidence and self esteem!
Future
plans
For the future I would like to upgrade the turbo to a larger t series turbo and tubular manifold(t66ish sized), and maybe get my sparcos rewrapped in something different-maybe suede or leather or something.
