Background
I picked up this car years ago from a family friend, starting out as a 7M-GE with 50,000 kms on the OD and in perfect condition. Started with mild bolt on modifications, which I ended up with a 'quick' car. After much debate, I had a choice of going to a wild 7M-GE NA build, or to turbo my NA block. Started by converting over all the GTE electronics, and has evolved to leave most of the OEM Toyota parts behind.

Writeup
The major build up of this car started when i blew my stock CT-26 turbo and bought a HKS Turbo Kit from Japan. While waiting for 2 months for it to arrive, I decided the turbo was too small, and my plans grew from there. Shortly after, I upgraded to an SP63 turbo from Sound Performance. I then decided to do it right, and pull the engine in order to build the bottom end. After a long struggle with the machine shop, I finally ended up with a good rotating assembly built by my friend Garth and myself. One thing lead to another, and I deceided on the AEM EMS stand alone system, converting it to a MAP intake setup. Finally getting the car running after 30+ weeks of being down, it still needs a lot of work to get it to where I want it. Before it snows here in Canada, I thought I better take it to the dyno just to get on 7MPower :) Numbers are a little low (tq especially), but I would attribute that to timing being off about 10* (AEM not syncing up) and a few mechanical problems (air/exhaust leaks), and no real tuning. Its a good start though, and hopefully I can break 500+ rwhp in the very near future with some good tuning and more experience with the AEM EMS.
Future
plans
Fully built race head with HKS 264 camshafts & a hell of a lot more :)
